Men and Women Living For Christ
|
Their are many great men and women of
faith, but I'm sure if you asked them, they would deny any greatness in
themselves and refer only to the greatness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Of course they would be correct, but their ability to spend
the time to wait upon God to hear guidance for their lives and special
calling ready to obey, makes their characters great and examples for
the rest of us to follow. Great Christian leaders may have been chosen by God, but every Christian has been chosen for a special work. We all have a purpose and if we wait for God to equip us and use us without our putting in the time to pray and be diligent about what we hear, we will never fully realize God's power in our lives to do mighty things for Him. I can't express enough how important it is to live the 'Kingdom Life' where we center first upon God. It is through this commitment that we will realize God's greatness working through us as the many spiritual leaders we love and look up to experience. If you're ready to center upon God first this can happen in many ways. Perhaps your sick and need healing. Or maybe your finances are drained and you can't see a way out. Whatever your problem, use it today to draw nearer to God and then let Him lead you to the place where you can serve God for the greatest fulfillment you can experience. Where should you begin? If you don't receive the teaching in your church that will put you on the right path with God, use the classic Christian books given here to begin and check back for more. I will add more as I have time. Classic Christian Books Plans
Purposes and Pursuits by
Kenneth Hagin.
"This
book is so appropriate for all Christians. Kenneth E. Hagin was a
Christian man who I so admired -- and who I so greatly miss since His
passing. He was always a stickler for the truth about God's
Word
and this particular book gives a clear picture of the difference
between God's will and the work of our flesh." More... Christ The Healer by F. F. Bosworth. "We need books such as this to prove that the Work of Jesus Christ is ongoing. With many churches claiming that miracles no longer happen, this age-old book proves that Christ's work is the same yesteray, today and forever." More...
